2025 NAIDOC - The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy

Our NAIDOC 2025 range features artwork by Coomaditchie Elders Lorraine Brown and Narelle Thomas, inspired by the 2025 NAIDOC theme: The Next Generation – Strength, Vision & Legacy.

In the words of the Elders, the meaning behind the artwork:

"Like the rings on a tree that tell the story of its many years, the lines in our NAIDOC design mark the passing of time. The circle represents our timeline—our Elders of the past, their teachings, and the footprints of our history. It reflects the walking of Country and our connection to traditional lands.

The blue symbolises our Eastern coastal heritage. The dotted lines trace our Songlines, crossing the land and connecting the special places that hold our stories and Black history.

At the centre is our flag—a symbol of recognition, of our people and our culture. The lines surrounding it represent the ripples of time, wisdom, and age."
