Collection: Dreaming Stories

Dreaming stories share the creation of the land, culture, and lore of the Illawarra. Passed down through generations, Coomaditchie Elders continue to preserve and share these stories through oral tradition and art. The following works were developed alongside Elders and present simplified interpretations of these Dreaming stories, illustrated by young artists from the Ngaramura Project to carry this knowledge forward for future generations.
