Dee-Jaye Brown

Dee-Jaye Brown is a proud Yuin and Dunghutti artist whose creativity began as soon as he could hold a paintbrush. The son of artist Shane Brown and grandson of Elder and senior artist Aunty Lorraine Brown, Dee-Jaye has grown up immersed in culture, storytelling, and artistic expression. Inspired by the work of his father and guided by the legacy of his grandmother, he blends traditional techniques with modern themes, creating vibrant works that honour his heritage. Now a young adult, Dee-Jaye is emerging as a fresh voice in Aboriginal art, offering thoughtful reflections on identity, culture, and youth through his growing body of work.
