About the artwork:
The circle in the centre represents the main campsite of traditional times along the creek - a central area for the tribal people. This was a place of plenty, a life sustaining area. This creek was great and provided for many needs. Echidnas, kangaroos, birds and plants of plenty. Today’s use is represented by the coloured hands - many cultures. A place of fun, peacefulness, swimming, picnics, all in one area for many.
