About the artwork: The story tells of how a huge fire was burning the bush down fast. The old woman, an elder of the tribe, ran to get the children and saved them from the fire. When she thought she had all the children, she could hear one more yelling out so she ran back into the fire. They waited and waited for her to return and when she did, she was the Lyre Bird. She had totally changed – they were all so surprised and happy.
