About the artwork: Like the timelines on a tree telling us their centuries of ages. So, to the lines on our Naidoc design. Our circle of time with the Elders of our past sitting and teachings, the footprint of history the walking of country and our traditional lands. The blue representing our Eastern coastal history, the dotted lines our Songlines across all the land, our areas of place special places and black history. The centre our flag, our recognition of our people/culture; and the lines around the flag and our ripples of time and age
