About the artwork: These are our beautiful and unique creatures of our land. Our beautiful laughing Kookaburra, our bounding Kangaroos and our Possums as they glide through their environment. The Kookaburra brings its laughter, helps us to keep our happiness and strength.
The Kangaroo represents strength. They leap and bound, just like our people. The Possum is our night creature. Like our people they are sleek and sturdy. They are the footprints of this land, balanced and adjustable. We must keep our culture to help with community building and storytelling. Keeping strong, keeping connected.
